Sofie TV Automation System

SuperFly.tv was tasked by the Norwegian public service broadcaster NRK with developing an open source replacement for the VizRT Mosart automation system. Six months later the first TV news show was successfully aired using the Sofie TV Automation system. Since then, over 3,500 live shows have been produced using Sofie.

Complete Pay-per-View Graphics

SuperFly.tv created the graphics and custom code for Ultimate Fighting Championship's newest pay-per-view broadcast, plus consulted on the solution to play all the 4K graphics from easy-to-carry laptops running the open source system CasparCG.

We also created an automated offline-rendering solution for graphics-overlays on full match recaps based After Effects scripting using data entered into Google Docs by the client.

Complete Graphics System

SuperFly.tv delivered a completely new graphics system fed via internal database and timing systems. Play-out control is handled via a custom web browser-based controller software. 

The complete overhaul included a new design and responsive graphics templates that are stateless and adjusts themselves to the data. Easy-to-carry laptops are used for the real-time rendering using CasparCG.

Live broadcasts on Eurosport and online since April 2016.
